About Us
Rise. Shine. Perform
At Phoenix Performing Arts, every child is encouraged to rise, shine and discover what they’re truly capable of. We believe in nurturing confidence, creativity and resilience through the joy of dance and performance. Whether a student dreams of the stage or simply wants to grow, belong and have fun, we create an environment where they feel supported, inspired and proud of who they’re becoming. Here, every step forward matters — and every young performer learns to soar.
We also offer opportunities for adults who want to continue their own love of dancing.
Our Story
Phoenix Performing Arts was founded in January 2026, following the retirement of Parkewood School of Dance after nearly 60 years of dance training.
Phoenix Performing Arts was established to continue to nurture and develop dancers of all ages, supporting them in continuing their passion for performing. Today a team of qualified and passionate teachers deliver high quality training in ballet, tap, jazz, street, contemporary, body conditioning and musical theatre. Training is offered in Royal Academy of Dancing and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing syllabuses.
Opportunities to learn and practice gymnastics skills are also offered on an ad hoc basis to help provide additional training for our students.
Our Studio
Our classes are held in beautiful, fully equipped, air conditioned studios with sprung floor at Places for Leisure Eastleigh. There is ample parking, a seating area for parents and the convenience of an onsite Costa Coffee should you wish to wait for your child to finish their class.
