Megan Blower - Musical Theatre and Jazz

Introducing the amazing Megan Blower who will be teaching Musical Theatre and Jazz at PPA

Megan was trained from the age of 2 by her grandmother, Brenda Horner, and at the Susan Robinson School of Ballet, for all classical disciplines; gaining distinctions from Pre-Primary - Advanced 2 in ISTD Tap, ISTD Modern and RAD Ballet.

Having been fortunate enough to continue her passion as a career, she went on to perform in many shows on tour and on cruise ships spanning 8 years.

Some of her credits include: Sally Bowles - Cabaret ,Dorothy - The Wizard of Oz ,Charity - Sweet Charity ,Gina - Sweet Fatty Arbuckle, Cinderella - Cinderella Panto (P&O Cruises), Jill - Jack and the Beanstalk Panto (Cunard)

Whilst performing, she was often appointed as Dance Captain and this is where her love for choreography and teaching really began to blossom. Upon returning from her final contract, Megan spent 2 years as a freelance Dance and Performing Arts teacher for vocational students, whilst gaining her DDI & DDE in both ISTD Tap and Modern. She then went on to open her own Dance & Performing Arts Academy in Surrey, where she was able to share her love for all aspects of the arts with her students and trained them to become medal winners at The All England Dance Finals. Many have since gone on to vocational institutions and/or professional careers performing themselves.

Unfortunately, her very small but thriving school wasn't able to survive the pandemic but not too long afterwards, she was blessed with the opportunity to fulfil her second dream in life of becoming a mum!

Megan is now looking forward to sharing her vast knowledge, love and experience with the students of Phoenix Performing Arts.

Introducing the incredible Ella Holding who will be teaching Street at PPA

Ella is currently teaching and studying at Southampton University and her favourite street style is hip hop! She loves anything groovy!

Ella started competing at the age of fourteen and was fortunate enough to be able to carry this on throughout university with her own competition squad. One of the highlights of last competition season was winning Best dancer of the day at the UK’s biggest university dance nationals competition. She was also a part of the national winning group for 2025, as well as co-choreographing a duet piece that placed as the highest scoring piece of the entire day.

Ella had the amazing opportunity of teaching at BASE studios last summer in London and is super excited to work alongside hardworking students. Her classes are energetic and groove and guaranteed to leave students smiling!
